A lifelong resident of the City of Poughkeepsie, Michael has been practicing in the Poughkeepsie area since 1984. He has been fortunate to have amassed substantial experience in many areas of the law, which gives him the ability to handle the diverse needs of his clients in widely varied areas of the law.

Michael is a graduate of Columbia University and Vanderbilt Law School. He worked as a New York State Assistant Attorney General for seven years, acquiring in-depth experience in Personal Injury Law, administrative proceedings and guardianship proceedings. He has also worked extensively as a Family Law attorney and as Corporate Counsel, enforcing and collecting judgments. He has now developed a substantial real estate practice as well, representing lenders, buyers and sellers in various real estate transactions.

The cornerstone of his practice is client satisfaction. This, in turn, depends upon being accountable and available to his clients. Michael believes it is integral to his practice of law to communicate with his clients on a regular basis and return telephone communications promptly.

Michael's practice emphasizes Real Estate, Personal Injury Law, Family Law and Banking law, and he is involved as well in other types of litigation.

Michael is a member of the Dutchess County Bar Association and is an avid chess, basketball and tennis player. He also plays the piano.
